Yep the Passat is £120 a month on a 3+23 deal. At that price it was too good to turn down. VWFS reckon it will be sold for £17k when I've finished with it so if I want to buy it it will cos £21k or so all in. Excess mileage is 7.2p a mile paid at the end you can usually change it at 12months at roughly 3.6p a mile instead.merely at clientco for the entertainment -

The understeer was horrific.
The Calibra was a good looking motor though...

They are doing the r estate for 150 quid (+vodka and tonic) a month at the mo. 24 months 2.4k deposit. 33k car for under 3.5k a yr. 4wd 300bhp 0-62 5.1Originally posted by Hobosapien View PostI thought everyone rented (leased) their cars these days like they rent their houses (from a landlord or bank).
Some of the deals look almost to good to be true. I've read elsewhere that loads of VW Golf R's have been shifted this way, when they did a deal for something like £200/month on a £30k car, that when depreciation is factored in it makes it look like VW are paying you to drive one.
Not looked into it close enough to know if the figures do stack up (especially when excess mileage rates are taken into account) but it seems a very popular way of getting into a new car.Last edited by ZARDOZ; 7 April 2016, 11:22.Comment
