An ageing Chinese population, an economy set to hit the buffers in the next few decades, a rapidly expanding population in African nations whose rising economies have been largely driven by Chinese demand for minerals. No, London prime real estate was largely driven by officials of corrupt regimes in African and other countries stealing nations wealth and parking it safely in London where nobody was asking questions where they got the money from.

France, Germany and a few others are actually propping up their steel industries against EU rules. They realise they will need them in the long term so f*** the EU in this case.
