The Times has an article about students campaigning to change the names of Kings College and Imperial College, as they are " “symptomatic of the historical and structural racism and sexism that cause daily microaggressions to students of colour and those who self-identify as female” and they should instead be called Gaia College and Citizen’s College."
"Mr Chetwynd-Talbot said the moves would be a start but had other suggestions. “I’m not terribly happy about Jesus College, Oxford, either. And don’t even get me started on the School of Oriental and African Studies,” he said."
Utterly believable.Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!Comment
