The time to emigrate to places like Australia has gone, more of a bubble than the UK.

America has too many guns and I don't want my kids to speak with a stupid accent.

Tell me, what is so wrong about actually letting the housing market correct and having sensible prices come back?

I'm a BTL landlord, because it's my pension, and I prefer to have a decent tenant in long term rather than make as much money as I can. My current tenant has been in for 3 years and I haven't raised the rent for 2, because he takes care of the place. And most other landlords i know are the same.
TBH you come across as a spoilt, entitled, not too bright mediocrity who doesn't know how lucky you are. If you were my tenant I would in fact raise the rent just to get rid of you.

      Hth, bidi.
      Hard Brexit now!

Judging by your posts on here I'd be willing to bet that their accent is probably one of the least stupid elements that they will be contending with.
Inheriting half their genes from a jellyhead like you is much more likely to be a drag factor to their progress.

So I'm a jelly head for wanting affordable housing?

I'm sure you are a decent landlord, there are lots out there who aren't.

No, you are a jellyhead for imagining that is how the world works. And a naive one at that.
