Perhaps you could extend your munificence to allowing PG to pitch a tipi on the sloping lawns of your Edwardian pile in Totnes.

It wouldn't exactly be out of place

Landlords are scum. Profit hungry scum.
If I had taken a picture of the tulip infested, crap strewn slum that my tenants had turned my rental into after having a dog for 2 months you might might be less judgemental. I had to have a shower to get the stench out of my nostrils.

FWIW I have never once put up rent, kicked anyone out or withheld a deposit, my only expectation is to find a civilised human being who doesn't think it acceptable to live with dog tulip all over the floor whist eating noodles from Tupperware because the sink looks the the one in withnails flat.

Oh, and the only reason I was intruding? To do the gas safety certificate. ******* good job I did too since the spackers had lined the bottom of a gas oven with plastic to catch fat drips.

You seem to have a very binary view of the world which, for someone pushing 40, is quite disturbing.

TBH you come across as a spoilt, entitled, not too bright mediocrity who doesn't know how lucky you are. If you were my tenant I would in fact raise the rent just to get rid of you.

Mr Caton applauds initiatives aimed to help younger home owners.

These have included Help to Buy mortgage schemes as well as ways of helping aspirant buyers save for deposits. The Help to Buy Isa was unveiled in 2015 and in this month’s Budget, another, more generous, vehicle – the Lifetime Isa – was announced.

So the solution is to provide ways for people to get themselves into more debt?

I do like the way that most on CUK equate any sort of empathy, anything other than f00k everyone else, with being stupid and poor. And being less of a person.

I suppose I realized this long ago via threads like http://forums.contractoruk.com/accou...ight-back.html

Its the same sort of attitudes that lets ISIS flourish and encourages the bombing of children Pakistan explosion leaves many dead at Lahore park - BBC News

Not a chance. The listings people would not allow such an affront to the "setting" of my home.

Sad bitter loser, but Ho hum. Not the first and won't be the last, what? The politics of envy is alive and well.

That's the aim in the long run. What do you want, a Soviet/Cuban/Venezualan/North Korean system? Because obviously those societies really succeeded.
