    I always thought milk went last because the water has to be over 90 degrees to actually make the tea brew - and adding milk to soon meant temp was too low and tea would not brew properly.

      Sounds like you'd have been better off fixing the puncture with milk and teabags

          My mother in law did that a couple of times just before she was diagnosed with dementia.

              If I need a tea that keeps me running I 'd put 2 big notches of butter in the cup first. Then hot water tea bag then milk. Hmmmmhhh
