I always thought milk went last because the water has to be over 90 degrees to actually make the tea brew - and adding milk to soon meant temp was too low and tea would not brew properly.

did no one ever fix a puncture on their bike when they were young by pouring milk in the tube? ........ Just me then.

If I need a tea that keeps me running I 'd put 2 big notches of butter in the cup first. Then hot water tea bag then milk. HmmmmhhhComment
