They won't always be lucky, and maybe London or Birmingham or Manchester are next on the list.

The enemy only have to be lucky once. We have to be lucky all the time. Apparently though in the UK local residents in the various ethnic minority enclaves are more likely to tip off the authorities about suspicious behaviour than in Belgium or France. That's why I said the level of integration is worse than in the UK.

Departure lounges are easy targets. Everyone with large suitcases and rucksacks, all pre security checks.

Just walk in, drop off the case and remotely detonate it a couple of minutes later.

Unlike in Turkey, where everyone is screened as they go through the door, cases through the scanner you through the metal detector before you set foot in the airport, much more sensible, which begs the question why we don't do this, although clearly after today this will be the next step

Limited space and an infrastructure (baggage handling system) not set up to do this.
