It'll be interesting to see the detail when it's published but currently if you deem yourself outside IR35 Public Sector Bodies happily take a letter from your accountant stating the correct amount of tax has been deducted.Originally posted by tomtomagain View PostI don't really understand how that's going to work practically. The Public Sector bod would somehow have to have access to your accounts and check that you'd paid the full whack?
Doesn't make a great deal of sense. If you had 3 month contract in the PS then 9 months in the private sector ... how would that work?
It's only when you declare yourself inside IR35 that they're then supposed to request payslips to show that you're paying the correct amounts.Comment

Microbusiness, not tax dodging, UK destroying, enemy No.1 PSC.Originally posted by TheCyclingProgrammer View PostInteresting comment on Twitter...£1000 "micro-business tax allowance" is the government effectively saying we can't be arsed to chase people with trivial amounts of freelance service income each year?
Your business is a PSC if you, the director, provide the service yourself.
Now if your business, consisting of you the director, doesn't provide a service yourself, then you are a micro business.
