Why on earth are you buying a leasehold property?
In a couple of years you'll be on here saying how they've doubled the service charge

Service charges can occur even on freeholds although they will ideally run open-book and not-for-profit. This model seems more common in Scandinavia where each street collectively owns their management company (or collective as one might call it!)
