10 minutes ago it was sunny, raining, and snowing at the same time here in Devon. All calmed down now and just sunny. No condoms or chickens in my garden, so far as I know. There is a pheasant clearing up under the bird feeders though.

Now I know where our pheasant has gone. I think we scared him off on Christmas Day when he was on our bird table and we took some photos. He's camera shy apparently.

Snowing when I got up (at 8am, that commute to the home office is a killer ) but it didn't stick around for me to plan in a snowman making project task for this morning.

Loverly and sunny and dry here darn sarf. You can keep your snow, poverty and low house prices.

I don't see anyone complaining about it tbh. Maybe that's because;

1. We all have spare flat caps, so when one gets wet fetching coal we can put a dry one on.
2. We all have coats, and spare coats for our whippets.
3. Dray horses visit all pubs on a Thursday because all factories pay a cash pay packet on a Friday afternoon, so there will be beer to drink
4. Ferrets, whilst inconvenienced by >1 inch of snow, are happy enough up their owners trouser leg till it melts
5. We're not southern poofters living in overpriced rabbit hutches, obsessively pressing F5 on the Halifax House Price index to find out whether they've 'made' enough to pay for the train into the city next week.
