I was in southern Spain near Malaga very recently. On a coach trip heard how they got major highway in the region largely funded by the EU, more than we ever got out of it.

What really pisses me off is that the tolls double during Easter and the summer holidays. Unless you have a VIA-T Toll bleeper, which can only be issued to a resident by a Spanish bank.

It's not a YES/NO question:

Eastern European nations are creating their own voting blocs within the Union that gives them influence they would not otherwise have. This has led to Poland having an astronomical amount of EU funding to build roads, rail networks and infrastructure that puts our Victorian rubble to shame (one guess who pays for it).Comment

We have crap because our government likes paying France, Germany etc to run our infrastructure. It doesn't help that UK civil servants are not known for their contract negotiation skills."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment

You're also paying out for bailing out Greece and the settling of gazillions of refugees.Originally posted by clearedforlanding View PostI know it very well. AP7 - Malaga - Marbella - Estapona.

I think the rest of the EU should be allowed to have a vote on the UK.
They'd kick them out."Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience". Mark TwainComment
