Whilst you're there have a good look for Stornoway Black pudding, better than the (admittedly excellent) Bury version, but only stocked at the Managers discretion.
Which taste far better when you buy them from the meat hall at Bury Market.

Up there with getting a pasty from Crantock village store.

Occasionally. Nice to mix with the plebs to keep it real.

I saw Haggis last night but as the missus hates it decided to go with some chicken tonight.....

having said that recently I have been making sunday mash more interesting by adding some blackpudding during the mashing part - and I (unknowingly) bought some chilli black pudding which real does offer a bit of something extra with the sunday roast.

The fish hall is one of the best I've ever visited.

Completely forgot about it this year. Would have bought a haggis from M&S otherwise or made one myself

I was talking to someone from Skipton about markets and they were boasting about theirs. A week later I went to their market and had that Crocodile Dundee moment - "that's not a market"

I notice Wetherspoons are doing a Haggis burger if you're caught short.
