It seems to be a run it up the flag pole type of announcement, but if adopted (sic) would that mean those 3000 or whatever the number ends up as, then have the "right to family life" under HR legislation meaning the parents, older siblings, Uncles and Aunts & Tom Cobley would then be allowed in to settle?
How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think

Cynic, they are single children.
Now if they want to do it they just stipulate that the parents country for asylum should take the kids.
Is there some reason people cannot differentiate between migrants from within the EU and refugees, like the folk fleeing Syria?
Given the fact that the continental countries have real problems to address like the collapse of Schengen, I rather doubt Cameron will get anything: why should he? It's not like the UK is doing anything to assist with the refugee crisis on Europe's borders...
