I've no doubt many of them are - but the vast majority are genuinely trying to escape some horror or other, usually from some place the West is using to test/sell weapons.

Try living in a country that is actually struggling with a massive influx of asylum seekers and migrant workers and I'll listen to your inane ravings. The overwhelming majority of migrants to the UK are EU citizens. You want to sort that, quit the EU. I think there's a vote coming up you can participate in.

Scotland has been in the border of negative population growth for over a decade, we can certainly afford to take more in, but we're bound by people at Westminster who seem to have a vested interest in playing games with people's fears about migrants of all stripes. Do go on playing the puppet if it makes you happy.
