Midnight Run (1988) is one of my favourite films, so I was saddened to read:

This one seems to have been missed, runner and clothing for runner's; Ron Hill - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/athletics/57220289

"In 1970 he became the first Briton to win the Boston Marathon, breaking the course record, that is some going."

"The Accrington-born athlete ran every day from 20 December 1964 to 31 January 2017 - including after snapping his sternum in a car accident in 1993." That made me physically wince.

82 and he ran every day. My mother-in-law passed away last month, almost 79, heavy smoker most of her life. Not much extra years with all that running is it?

RIP Ron has run. His last race.

                    qh
He had a negative bluety on a quackhandle and was quadraspazzed on a lifeglug.

I look forward to your all knowing and likely sarcastic and unhelpful reply.
