This one really sucks. Surely in the top 10 ... maybe even top 5 ... male actors who ever lived. Him and Newman were the epitome of cool. With Hackman now gone I think there is only Clint Eastwood left of old school Movie Royalty. What is actually happening to modern day movie making? Its crackers. The 3 biggest male movie stars in the World are Cruise, Pitt and DiCaprio .... none of them spring chickens. There seem to be no new young megastars. Cruise and DiCaprio were both mega stars by the time they were both 24. Probably the biggest young name now in Hollywood is Sydney Sweeney. I think Gloria was right ... the movies have got smaller ... and too many of them.Originally posted by ladymuck View PostLeave a comment:

The “according to Donald” bit was because while the news outlets were reporting that he had been shot, Trump said he was dead. Yes, after he announced it, the news changed.Originally posted by northernladuk View Post
Why the according to Donald Trump bit? According to all the news outlets. It's crazy this happened but to be fair with with his views and the anger it could stir it was only a matter of time something like this would happen. Been watching some of his stuff over the years and although I don't know enough about US culture to have always have an opinion and certainly don't agree with some of the things he stands for he was very good at debating. Made for interesting watching even if what he said wasn't my cup of tea.
as for being a good debater, he wasn’t. He was a very good orator, but couldn’t debate a topic. When asked a difficult question he would change the topic or attack the person asking. That’s not debatingLeave a comment:
