    Naming underage murderers

How is it that a 15 year old can be named, yet a 16 year old cannot?

    Youth admits killing Kiyan Prince

A teenager has admitted killing promising footballer Kiyan Prince, 15, in a hearing at the Old Bailey.

The 16-year-old from north London, who cannot be named because of his age, denied murder but admitted manslaughter on Monday.
    Teenager admits schoolboy murder

A 15-year-old boy has been given a life sentence for murdering a boy, whose body was dumped in a park.

Joe Geeling, 11, was beaten, repeatedly stabbed and dumped in a park in Bury, Greater Manchester, on 1 March 2006.

Michael Hamer, who was 14 at the time of the attack, pleaded guilty to murder at the start of his trial at Manchester Crown Court.
How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think

    error

Read it again, its the victims.

Anyway its highly likely everyone knows who these little scrotes are locally, they have finally graduated from a 5 - 7 year course in the New Lie acadamy of Juvenile Delinquency. Start with shoplifting and end with murder.
Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.

Erm, actually the name of the 15 year old (14 at the time of the attack) is indeed the murderer.

And we are just emulating the US, after all.

"At an earlier hearing, Manchester Crown Court heard that Hamer admitted killing Joe. The trial concerned whether he committed murder or manslaughter and his state of mind at the time of the killing.

After hearing Hamer plead guilty to murder, the judge lifted a ban on his name being released.
        "

I suppose after admitting guilt, the case is in less danger of being prejudiced by releasing the name of the accused.

Commit an adult crime, get treated like an adult criminal.

            As simple as that.

Perhaps there is a case for bringing back the death penalty? After all, how many have reoffended after having the death penalty carried out on them?

I reckon labour camps for five years, then re-sentence with a death, life sentence or further hard labour options. It may be harsh, but no less than they deserve...

I gotta say, crime punishment is one area that the Middle East excels in. Steal and they chop off ur hands. Sleep around and they chop off ur wodger. Kill someone and they kill you.

It's quite simple really. God knows how we got it so wrong here.

                  Wrong

The correct answer is that the Manchester killer is white, and the London killer is black
