If there were two stories on the BBC about air crashes, then I would see them as similar/equal. A headline saying "cute squirrel" and one saying "air crash" are NOT equal. A headline saying "abuse" and another saying "abuse" would imply that the media outlet which is posting the headlines considers them as equal, not me. In fact, I'm the one pointing out the idiocy of the comparison, yet you say I am the one making it.
Is it fact that the DM considers them equal, or are they simply related, as many sidebar stories tend to be, given that they are often listed under headings such as Related, Related Stories or Related News?

It's a good job that the Holocaust was covered widely otherwise these two winkers would have their doubts about that too.

So Breitbart (I assume is the german Daily Mail equivalent) quoted a story from Junge Freiheit (The German BNP newsletter) which was based on a real report in the local paper.

So if Jesus's second coming was reported in the Daily mail, Stormfront & the Powys Times you would deny it ever happened because Stormfront covered it? Nice logic.

I think it is disgraceful that people should be spat at.

We already do pay far more than that

And strangely no one has any choice or they go to jail.

Now the real problem is that the last few governments have used it as a subsidy to major energy suppliers (free insulation) If they had spent it on Nuclear & decent green generation we would be there by now.

Any suggestion that takes more than a few weeks to implement is going to struggle.

If the suggestion was made that everyone in the country pays £20 a month extra tax so that we had dependable power in 20 years time, very few over 40s would support it. The over 70s would say they should pay because they will not live to see the benefit. The over 40s will say they shouldn't pay because in 20 years time we'll have some new technology that means we don't need to make the investment now - instead we can put it in out pensions. They will also say that it should be the people who are working in 20 years time who have to come up with the solution and how to fund it.
By which time we'd end up having blackouts and the solution will cost a lot more and will only be a short term fix theoretically oh well
