TALLINN, Estonia (AP) — A Finnish dairy company has released a commercial featuring Motorhead frontman Ian "Lemmy" Kilmister that was filmed just weeks before his death in December.
The 40-second spot published Friday on YouTube by Valio is a remake of a 1990s milk ad that is well known in Finland.
The new version shows Kilmister exiting a gas station, turning to the camera and saying, "I don't drink milk, and never will," followed by an expletive.
It was filmed in Helsinki in early December just hours ahead of a Motorhead concert in the Finnish capital. Kilmister died of cancer on Dec. 28 in Los Angeles.
Valio changed the spot to make it a tribute to Kilmister, calling the heavy metal singer and bassist "a lovely, exceptional man."
Valio said Kilmister's managers approved it.Comment

Okay I've read through all 18 quotes and not a mention of the threat to mankind of Anthropogenic Global Warming. It's like it didn't matter to him.Originally posted by NickFitz View PostWords of wisdom: The Tao of Lemmy: 18 Great Quotes From the Motorhead Frontman | Rolling Stone ♠︎Comment

He had a negative bluety on a quackhandle and was quadraspazzed on a lifeglug.
I look forward to your all knowing and likely sarcastic and unhelpful reply.

From the memorial, I like the last line.
6:01: Journalist Steffan Chirazi and another man is next: “i’ve been up all week thinking about this which is funny because if you hung out with Lemmy, you’d be up all night.” Chirazi adds: “He was so kind and supportive and he gave me the belief that I could live the life I wanted to live.” He reads a Spike Milligan poem, lobster.”The Swindon Advertiser said the gig was in jeopardy due to the passing of the frontman. Lemmy would have loved that.”Comment

Ah, but remember the lyrics to 'Suicide'Originally posted by DimPrawn View PostOkay I've read through all 18 quotes and not a mention of the threat to mankind of Anthropogenic Global Warming. It's like it didn't matter to him.
There is no way, no road at all,
We are destroyed, by our own plan,
The air we breathe will kill us all,
And no one left to give a damn,
No sun just clouds and poison rain,
Raped and feezing,
Victims of the dream again,
Stay clean, be true,
do whatever you can do,
Make it soon, or we all die,
Ten thousand years, and all we got is Suicide
This is obviously a commentary on the Millennium Ecosystem Assessment which found that of 65 indicators of human impact on the environment, 64 are going in the wrong direction, and a plea to the COP21 Paris Climate Conference to come up with a meaningful plan to stabilise greenhouse gas emissions. My subconscious is annoying. It's got a mind of its own.Comment
