Ah, so when you asserted there was no scientific evidence, what you meant was you had not read the evidence.

My irony meter is maxed out.

The poor are irrelevant to the broader agenda of these people. evidenced by PJ's refusal to even consider a geotechnical solution

Just for clarity: the climate change movement has nothing at all to do with the climate.

Nobody asks the important question any more.

            Qui Bono?
            I'm a smug bastard.

Which is the point I have been making all along. Evidenced by PJs complete refusal to even acknowledge any sort of solution that does not involve pouring money into scientists to investigate the problem, kill off the freedoms of one person to trade with another (capitalism) and feed $$$$'s into the hanger on environmentalist socialists and their organisations.

We'll have a lecture within minutes on why the source can't be trusted, is sponsored by business etc

Because being sponsored by Big Government better.

about the author of the blog you posted:

Grant McDermott is the artist formerly known as Stickman. He originally hails from South(ern) Africa, but is currently studying towards an economics PhD in Scandinavia. Prior to this, he spent several years working in the economics and finance sectors in different countries, with some travelling thrown into the mix. His main areas of academic interest are environmental and natural resource economics, but he is easily distracted. He likes long walks on the beach, reasonably priced wine and talking in the third person.
I'm sort of missing the years of research in climate science in his CV.

I would be interested in hearing his views on finance, I'm sure they'd be informed.

                      Here is Pat Michael's CV
