He may have had good reason for yawning.

If you are going to report him, do so AFTER it's been confirmed to you that you haven't got the job.
But, since it was a phone interview, are you certain he yawned? You didn't see him, so how can you be sure? He might have breathing difficulties, there might have been someone else in the room with him.
Unless he said "Sorry I yawned there", then don't immediately assume the sound was a yawn.…Maybe we ain’t that young anymoreComment

Good point, I didnt see it from the permie perspective. I just know when I interview people that have taken the time out to be available I would think it incredibly impolite to yawn. I would have apologized and given a reason.Originally posted by northernladuk View PostReporting a permie as VP level for yawning in an interview? Seems fair feedback to me especially if it was remotely true.
But I see it from the permie perspective now.Last edited by woohoo; 30 November 2015, 16:44.Comment

Might have been the sound of static on the line making a noise that sounded uncannily like 'Yaawwwwnn' and 'STFU you boring little tit' and 'Stop whining in General'
Plausible...Comment

Correct. If he's got bad asthma or similar, you've just blown your job chances.Originally posted by WTFH View PostIf you are going to report him, do so AFTER it's been confirmed to you that you haven't got the job.

Almost sounds like he's a victim looking for a crime.
Interview went badly - lets blame the interviewer and see how much sympathy I can get. Maybe even a lawyer will take my case. Can I sue for yawning? I reckon 6 weeks salary would be enough to make up for the emotional distress...…Maybe we ain’t that young anymoreComment

If he has bad asthma at least he will struggle to kick the tulip out of the OP when he gets fired for breathing heavily.Originally posted by LondonManc View PostCorrect. If he's got bad asthma or similar, you've just blown your job chances.Comment

Or he has been up all night at his dying relatives bedside.
Try an interview with an Indian outsourcer if you want rude and clueless.Comment

Perhaps the interviewer called him Darth by mistake and it all went pear-shaped from there?Originally posted by CoolCat View PostOr he has been up all night at his dying relatives bedside.
