    Sarah Beeny will be fine...

The government isn't in power, it is the banks.

Only legislation to limit banking powers will have any real impact.

Remember how much corporation tax AstraZeneca pays in all of this... On their global profits of £3bn....

      Zero.

Less than your Ltd Co. pays in Corporation Tax.

Yes, we know that. The point is that Tory Scum do things that I am sure even Labour would not have done - 50% tax is what they'd do, which is irrelevant to many people on here anyway, where as divi tax hike alone hits everybody, nevermind lots of other tulip coming to hard working contractors ...

Politics of envy, all the renters complaining and hating people who tried to make a few quid for their retirement. I look forward to the day you are kicked out of your rented accommodation because the company now owns your flat based in a tax haven wants to up the rent in a scarce market.

              Whs

What amazes me though is how many poor feckless renting contractors on here now.

When I started posting in the late 90s on CUK everyone was loaded and looking to buy loads of property. How iMessage are changed.

Hope the BTLers get stung to death myself.
and just how has BTL inflated prices??? if anything its allowed lots of people the ability to live in a property they probably cannot afford to mortgage themselves even if the rent is the same as the mortgage

If the BTL numbers dont stack up then it wont be bought on BTL, so that aint the fault of the BTL owners is it.

I'm just coming up to retirement (2-3 years) and this has just stuffed all my plans. I knew BTL was going to take a kicking and it has but ffs, it's the uncertainty in the market that's going to kick in now until 2020 that's done for me. First it was pensions, then it was interest rates, now it's BTL. It's like every ladder I've ever had out of the earning quagmire has been pulled out from under me as soon as I get my foot on the first rung.
...my quagmire of greed....my cesspit of laziness and unfairness....all I am doing is sticking two fingers up at nurses, doctors and other hard working employed professionals...

                    Envy?

How dare young people dream about home ownership. Selfish ipad generation.

They must work three zero hours contracts to pay off the debts of their parents.

Christ almighty, green fees aren't cheap you know?"!
