    I agree big deal. But what it means is that they'll save by axing the department who was typing the paper ones in and on the cost of printing and sending them out!

            I don't know how to explain this more clearly for you. He said EVERY individual. Not those minority who do SATR. 90+% of people never do a tax return so this is clearly not about just an online tax form like we have now.

            My guess is every individual will se something more like what companies have access to now (which is quite good though slightly clunky).

                Do you really think that many people still use paper return? Ability to fill in return by end of Jan was a big attraction, I expect 90% of those who need to fill it in are doing it online already.
