This seems to be a western model.

I'm just putting it out there.
      Not really it isn't.
In the UK, and some European countries the aim is integration.
In the US they favour the "melting pot" approach - i.e. different people retain their cultures, but all just sort of get along. For example, Cinco de Mayo being a Mexican holiday, celebrated by those of Mexican origins in the US, and now fairly widely adopted as an excuse for a party among non-Mexican groups. Of course, some Americans believe that the melting pot should apply to absolutely every cultural group. Except those from the Middle East. The same way some strongly believe in freedom of religion (including no religion) for absolutely every religion. Except Islam.

We need to remember that the perpetrators of these atrocities represent only a tiny minority of the overall Muslim population.
In this country we have a very substantial Muslim presence yet have suffered comparatively few incidents like those in Paris.
That suggests to me that our Intelligence services have got a pretty good handle on who and where problems may be planned to occur.
I very much doubt that we could be so "in the know" on these machinations without a considerable amount of help and assistance from within the Muslim community itself. A great many people must be putting themselves very much in harm's way to help us keep on top of prospective attacks.
I think that gives the lie to the suggestions that most Muslims are offering even tacit support to these bloodthirsty murderers.

Correct. I'd like to think that the Muslims over here see the benefit of being here and are grateful to not live under an oppressive or corrupt regime (pipe down at the back!) like some have. The honour killings are still such a shame too, along with the acid attacks on those Muslim girls who can't help who they fall in love with.

Isn't that more of a Parkistani thing than Muslim in general?

Moreover, more connected with the tribal regions of Parkistan.

It happens everywhere really. Today on BBC 5lilve a man was going on about how he was acid attacked by a black man who was told by his drug dealer/gang boss to "hurt someone".

Its only the media that narrows it down to Pakistan.

Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

Is it just black people and Muslim that cause trouble then? I wondered if I should ask because I'm half African and a IT professional.
