You obviously have no idea about the current state of the Spending Review if you think that.

It is unlikely. And I choose to believe it is highly unlikely.

But quite a few people heard GB in 1997 and thought it would not affect them.

I know it is unusual to have a coherent discussion in General so you can be excused for not seeing it. NLUK - lighten up matey!

Well done, duplicate thread fail and miss-spelling of miss-spelling fail. Sit in the corner and write this out ten times until you've learned your lesson.

                  Pasty Tax anyone?

It's up to us to show using engineers and those who work in manufacturing as examples why this is a bad idea.

When people don't have lights, trains, internet connectivity, mobile phones, goods in their shops or goods we can export people think differently.

If we mention finance and IT it's too abstract for people including those in government as they think of rich folk doing things of no value or low paid folk who they think should be employees.

This is why I didn't like IPSE's first letter and massively edited it to include less abstract things. My Tory MP answered my letter by sending it on to the Treasury who read it and disagreed with me by saying they needed to be "fair." When the lights go out there will be nothing to be fair about.....
