Interesting your graph starts in the 1960

which is only 15 years after 2 atomic bombs were dropped on Japan

and in the middle of the postwar baby boom.

so these must also contribute as well

in fact I bet there are many things I can show have been increasing since the 1960's - which therefore must have an impact on global warming

showing a trend between 2 sets of data in no way means causality.

The graph is the output of a simple model (simple as in, you could run it on a 386) run from 1988 with three different scenarios, versus various global temperature datasets. The reason for posting was to falsify the claim that 'all predictions have failed'. No more than that.

Global warming and rising temperatures linked to drop in birth rates | Daily Mail Online

Is global warming cooling YOUR sex life? Rising temperatures linked to drop in birth rates
Hot weather can be linked to a drop in 'coital frequency', report has found
Researchers studied 80 years of fertility and temperature data from U.S.
It found when weather top 80°F, the birth rate suffers large decline
Report recommends using more air conditioning to offset the fertility impact of climate - despite air conditioning being linked to global warming
so PJC can blame Global warming for his crusty socks.

But it is hot in Africa, and they breed like wildfire to the point where they have ruined there ecosystem....

NASA Study: Mass Gains of Antarctic Ice Sheet Greater than Losses | NASA
So what is really happening? One thing that Zwally’s study does highlight is how difficult it is to nail what is happening in East Antarctica because the signal is small and contaminated by unwanted effects that are as large or even larger. Zwally et al get a different result from previous studies because they make a different set of assumptions. Those assumptions are, by their nature, subjective and difficult, without additional evidence, to corroborate. There are, however, other lines of evidence that suggest that Antarctica is unlikely to have been gaining mass in the last few decades. That would, for example, make closing the sea level budget a whole lot harder (that is, making the sum of the sinks and sources match the observed rate of sea level rise). One other thing is certain: West Antarctica has been losing mass at an increasing rate since the 1990s and, irrespective of what is happening further East, that*trend looks set to continue. Going to the other end of the Earth, the Greenland ice sheet has also been losing mass at an accelerating rate since around 1995. Greenland is now the single biggest source of mass to the oceans. These trends at both poles are huge signals that are unequivocal and uncontested.

No, it must be wrong, because hundreds of unqualified non-scientists say so.

not only is your argument back to front, but it's a double negative as well.

                  That's quite some feat

Would be great - if the Earth was created only 100 years ago.

As it is now with the earth being 4.5 billion years old then comparing the temperature over a time slice which represents 0.000001% of the earths age probably looses a bit of meaning and value.

                      But interesting all the same.
