Reducing tax credits is an absolute disaster in the making. At a time when tax credits need to be increased across the board, the government is doing just the opposite. There are thousands of really hard working families totally reliant on this income and their children will starve because of this. Already many cannot afford holidays and even Sky sometimes and they are struggling to make ends meet as it is.

Cant wait for Corbyn to get in, we need someone who looks after the poor and working class.

Yes and no. If one of the working parents is made redundant (e.g. steel worker) then you might find yourself with the children but reduced income

Im all for scrapping them, but a phased in approach would ensure those lowest paid do not take a pay cut. We need to keep people in work and incentivised.

This is nice cover for what is happening to junior doctors. Seriously what do you think will happen if we impose a 30-40% pay cut for junior doctors. Tories are muppets.

They are entitled to it. Responsibility does not come into it. Labour promised them that they are entitled to this top up and they have adapted their life style based on this. Now this government is illegally trying to reduce it.

Nobody should have children unless they have at least enough money in the bank to pay for them for 18 years.

I'd bet in all those "hard working families" no more than two of them actually work.
