Job of the day - Refreshingly honest....

Who says all agents are liars? This will sort the men from the boys. Bedwetters and flouncers need not apply.

    Service Delivery/Operational Manager

This is an initial 3 Month Contract based in Manchester City Centre .. likely to be extended.

This isn't your typical Service Delivery role - the existing team is lacking maturity in ITIL, so I need somebody who has the experience in supporting teams, as well as challenging them. You will be managing 51 people, & you'll be expected to work out current process', as well as fire fighting, a lot ! I need someone who has an extremely strong background in Operations, & Major incidents.

I'm not going to Gloss this up, because this is a difficult role, in a complex environment. If you get up in a morning & look forward to challenging days, & you possess the skills required here, then please forward your CV for immediate consideration.

    Location Manchester, UK

Honest and interesting, better than all the typical cookie cutter roles.

Now if the "market rate" is derived from the market for people capable of sorting out what sounds like a bit of a mess, they may just get someone capable of doing the job.

That is the new tactic by agents/agencies to 'look straight'.

      Nothing new

So it might be a double bluff to fox easily bored contractors - Users meek as lambs, and organised, competent permies, so the role is actually a pushover

Just waiting for someone to come on here talking about a disastrous gig in Manchester, they are bailing from, poor management, unpaid late nights, bombed out with offshore, project taking a nose dive etc. etc.

Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

We all like a meaty challenge but that just sounds like a pain in the chest. Especially the bit about managing 51 folks while "firefighting".

Sounds awful, but I'm sure to some people creating an efficient team from a mismatched bunch of individuals is what they thrive on.

Market rate for a hospital pass of a project?
