LibLabCon love the work permit system.
Voting LibLabCon means you too agree with the 159,000 and growing number of work permits issued last year alone.
In the year ending June 2014, there were 50,619 skilled worker (Tier 2) sponsored visa applications (main applicants), an increase of 16%. The majority of applications were for the Information and Communication (21,893).Comment

Forget Calais look at the swarms arriving from India. This cannot go on. Why the main stream media are not highlighting this is beyond me. What on earth are we doing subsidising sink estates full of unemployed while bringing in swarms of Indian nationals? Literally hundreds of people in Halifax were made redundant and replaced with either offshore or ICT in the last seven years or so. No skilled British citizens and ICT visas being granted are not connected in any way whatsoever.
Anyone who actually believes that probably voted Tory "coz they luv small bizznizz, innit"
I did not know the thing above about intra-company transfer though. I've worked at companies that have employed Indian people though, some had to be sponsored, some could only work for X time, etc.Unless you're the lead dog, the scenery never changes.

If you wonder why rates in IT are the same as 10 years ago, and bench time gets longer and longer and permie IT wages are on par with trainee manager at McDonald's, there's your answer.Comment
