Some of it sounds great, just a pity that these socialist policies never work. You still have rich or over-privileged people, they go abroad or find it in the government/public sector instead. Look at the overpaid and thoroughly pointless London tube drivers. A free market economy with strong government controls works best.

In fact your ugly hate-filled turn of phrase supports my argument - that sentiment that the poor and unemployed are to be attacked is contrary to the idea that people care about each other. They'd rather find a reason why caring is not appropriate.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

Those gerymandering Tories had better watch out"Is someone you don't like allowed to say something you don't like? If that is the case then we have free speech."- Elon MuskComment

I watched his speech, he did pretty well and had the audience frothing but some of the stuff he was saying was nonsense.
I'm pretty sure he claimed that trident will cost 1/4 of our defence budget, but if the CND figure of 100 billion over 40 years is to be believed then that is 2.5 billion per year, out of a total budget of 60 billion. His numbers are out by a magnitude of almost 10.Comment

Still, he has done enough now to hang on to the job until the general election. People are dribbling on about his speech on social media like this is the second coming.Comment

As in - sacking full time staff and expecting reservists to take their place to supposedly have same strength. In conditions of the world now the Army/RAF/Navy should have at least 50% more strength with potential to get 300% more in case of real emergency.Comment
