I have decided to promote fundamental agnosticism. Why should the religious have all the fun?.

When we atheists/agnostics take over we will demolish all places of worship. People will be forced to go to the spaces left for an hour twice a day where they be obliged to wander about going "there must be more to life than this".

Seriously though, I think the rights of the clever are being trampled on by the dictatorship of the stupid.

That's rubbish. We'd all do better to be better educated about this whole issue and where it originates from. Arab women were wearing veils long before Islam came on the scene. That has taken precedence in "traditional" Islam where they have made it a religious duty; traditionally a Muslim woman must wear a veil, religiously there is no obligation or even mention of it. Of course many Muslims would disagree, but they're idiots too.

A tradition in the Flubster family is to visit the shops in the nude...but the law prevents me from doing this. Where do I stand?

Veils existed in many cultures before Islam. There is no hard and fast rule about what "dress modestly" means. In general it means loose and only exposing hands, feet and (argueably) the face.

"Dress Modestly" is a phrase which comes from where exactly?

In general how could this possible mean cover your hair? At most its meaning must have relevence to whatever culture is adopting it as a code of dress; so there is no objective interpretation, but many different colours which, by definition cannot be any more "right" or "wrong" then the next.
