I must admit that I would have taken all the "Islamic spokesmen's" statements about how it was discriminatory to ask muslim women to remove their veils had they all be delivered by by veil-wearing men in full-length abayas.

Radio Five text poll on Friday finished at 9am with 93% in favour of Jack Straw. There were just over 2000 respondents.

I think you could rephrase that as saying "the game is up for Islam & it's
followers" as more of the population recognise it having no place in Western societies..at least 10 years too late, but finally the tide has turned
