My wife teaches at a Church of England School and it amazes me that there are muslim pupils going to it (who dont attend mass, which I think is a f8cking joke).

I mean...it has to be expected that you will be attending mass if you send your child to a CoE school. If you want to exclude them from mass then dont send the future dole bludgers there in the first place!

Either by design or folly the Muslim community appears hell bent on widening the gap between themselves and every other culture in the UK.

Indeed. However, I believe the Rt Honourable bliar has announced in a pitiful way to try and rectify his doomed quasi-social experiement that faith schools must accept 20% from non-faith entrants (including a Chico quelle horreur: self-styled athiests).

Communities and Local Government Minister Phil Woolas has become the second minister to join the debate over Muslim women who veil their faces.

Wearing veils could provoke "fear and resentment" and play into the hands of far-right activists, he warned.

In an article for the Sunday Mirror, he urged Muslims to be aware of the views of non-Muslims.

His words follow Jack Straw's call for Muslim women to take off veils at his Blackburn constituency surgery.

I must admit that I would have taken all the "Islamic spokesmen's" statements about how it was discriminatory to ask muslim women to remove their veils had they all be delivered by by veil-wearing men in full-length abayas.

They just don't get it, do they?

But you don't understand.... islam has taught men to treat women in this way, and the women have been reared from birth to be treated in this way. Don't expect too many of the women to state their views against 'traditional islam' when quite a number of them end up dead or sent back to pakistan.

It's the "muslim British citizen's" equivalent of the Khmer Rouge 'year zero'... anybody who has individual thought is eridicated in some way or another....
