To be fair to him that is backing up his words with actions.

How big a pile does he have in Kent?
Let us not forget EU open doors immigration benefits IT contractors more than anyone

There are plenty of migrant families living in illegal sheds in the UK already, I don't see Bob offering his house to any of them because it doesn't get his face in the news...

            Need examples? Go figure.

The attempt of media and newspapers to emotionally blackmail the European nations with that photograph has been a success. Agreed it is distressing to see a dead toddler, but how many fools in the UK or Europe are paying attention to the facts behind it? Beyond my intelligence.

As I said earlier, Cameron has sent the right signals out to Hitler Merkel on helping the real people in distress and the real refugees in UN camps and not what she dictates on the share of the mix from economic migrants, refugees(?), ISIS infiltrators etc.

            2 cents of change ...
How often does the mainstream media in this country show dead bodies? Never? If they showed dead kids as a matter course we'd never go to war again. Feels like we're being played.

If he's angry at government, that really means (if you think it through) he thinks the average joe should stump up from a moral perspective. In which case can we assume he is going to spend all of his riches looking after refugees until he is of only average wealth?

Well... i feel compelled to mention that technically it is 'our' fault.

If 'we' didn't support a violently coercive welfare state, then immigration wouldn't be an issue.

As it happens we're arguing about whether free men should be allowed to set foot on an arbitrarily defined geographical region. We're talking whether we should point guns at (and use them if necessary) free & peaceful men who want to walk on a particular patch of land - without trespass.

The reality is that at least some of those people are dying because people like 'us', like to use violence against one another in order to redistribute wealth.

I think 'we' should feel guilty about that.

As I don't count myself among 'we'/'us', I'm happy (for want of a better word) to suggest we don't let them flood in (for reasons mentioned earlier) while blaming it on you lot ; )

the missus has just turned the telly off.

she has not formed a view, but she finds the whole thing depressing
