I work for a goverment department and use a permy's account, I told him I needed access for technical reasons.

The guy who is supposed to do the monitoring is probably off sick anyway!
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

            Claim

that you're a muslim and are 'praying' online.

(interestingly you know the way that muslims kneel towards mecca, well, given that we live on a (roughly) spherical planet, they're also mooning mecca at the same time. Just though I'd share that with you.)
            Why not?

If you are not high enough lifeform to appreciate the beauty of my solution then have a pie and take it easy.

But you're not installing it. You can even run it off a USB key drive - http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable

This may soon become a corporate standard in some of the places I worked, why do PM's think code is like a Porn movie? Quantity does not equal Quality.
