No, because nuclear war is not as profitable.
In a normal war you sell arms before it, during it, and after.
In a normal war, after it is over the rebuilding of infrastructure etc can start straight away (send for Haliburton).
Nuclear war just involves sales to one side before it and no sales during or after.
Nuclear war would result in several years of delays before rebuilding. The shareholders will not wait years, they demand immediate profits.

Nope. I'm with SO. It is just typical conspiracy theory nonsense.

The American capitalist experiment has failed.
In what way has it failed? The Americans are the dominant power on the planet and the most innovative society over the last 100 years.

Proof can be seen in the memes posted by the gun lovers and tea party followers.
No. That's just "proof" that there are diverse opinions within society.

They are against any form of social care. If you can't afford it, you should be kicked out of the country.
That may be some right-wing Tea-Party view. But it is not the view of all Americans. Believe it or not there is social care in the US.

They are against any sense of responsibility for your actions - provided you can pay to cover them up.
That's odd. Because actually my reading of the T-Party and less right-wing Republican sections of the US political establishments views is the opposite. That your actions ARE your responsibility.

Many socialist governments are as corrupt.
Well we can agree on that.

This unfortunately is not a conspiracy theory.

          This is a conspiracy theory:

"Radical islamic terrorists hate the West because of our decadent way of life and want to enslave the enire planet under Sharia law. That's right they are coming for you and if we don't bomb them into the stone age they will be on our shores. They will also carry out attacks here therefore we need to eavesdrop on all your communications"

          Here's another one:

"Russia wants to expand and will take over the world if we don't beef up NATO, put bases encircling Russia and update all our nukes to the cost of £100BN - oh yeah and meet the NATO spending requirements"

Weapons manufacturing is a for-profit business - these business owners along with oil companies, banks etc own US politicians. This is not a conspiracy theory but a widely accepted truth.

Defence/war spending is pretty much a transfer of money from tax payers to profiteering companies

Believe what you want - but I'd ask you to think about the following question - "If US and our own politicians are 'owned' by corporate interest then what do these corporations want our politicians to do for them and how are we seeing that happen in the world today?"

If we get Jezza and they get Bernie things are going to change - I don't think the establishment will just let that happen so these are going to be interesting times.

Especially now Murdoch has just predicted a Corbyn win

It's going to be a car crash, one way or the other.

They lengths they will go to to prevent an Jez/Bernie US/UK will be mental. Expect media hysteria, dirt digging and failing that JFK type responses.

Thing is even if they manage to secure the candidates they want I think the momentum for change among "we the people" is picking up and if the economy goes norks up again then the establishment will have dug their own grave...

Two months before the next crash, grab a big loan and invest in precious metals then.

So why does the US build Nuclear weapons at all then?
