Islam as a religion is seven hundred years behind Christianity. Christians were burning any woman they didn't like and called a witch seven hundred years ago. Can Islam evolve in the same way in that time? Personally I doubt it because it's more than just a religion, with the jurisprudence, etc. It's more a way of life than a religion.

Err maybe because the hardliners are currently sidelined and because the country is starting to open up to the west? Maybe because the media is feeding you the idea and they are not infact nut jobs? They have executions but so do the US. And they are against homosexuality but so are Kenya - though I don't know how that can be used as a point against them, homosexuality was only legalised here and in the US relatively recently.....

It's bordering on cute, really. He's so unelectable that everyone else is absolutely tulipting themselves at the amount of support he's receiving. I like him - and its mostly because he's scaring the people I hate.

Jordan and UAE are both pro Iran deal, Iran has sunni mosques, churches and synagogues. Iran is fighting along side sunnis against IS. It's more of an all against IS/wahabism rather than sunni vs shia.

The whole ME/ISIS/Iran thing is not about religion - it's about who takes orders from Washington and who doesn't. A lot of it is about control of a pipeline that runs from Iran through Syria hence these 2 countries being under such pressure for 'regime change'

not sure if I've ever seen any other politician elevated to rock star status to the point where he has to go outside to address crowds that can't fit into his venues.

Whilst Islamism is against everything the left pretends to believe in, as long as Islamists are against the West, lefties want to promote Islam. Hence why lefties like Jeremy Corbyn go out of their way to be friends with Islamic extremists.

Corbyn indulges radical Islam, and by extension all that comes with it the subjugation of women; the murder of homosexuals in compliance with sharia law; the racism, the anti-Semitic conspiracy theories; the denial of democratic rights, the demand to create a global caliphate, the denial of religious freedom, the sharia-prescribed death penalties for blasphemy and apostasy etc etc

Meanwhile his views and his friends hardly portray him as a supporter of British values
