There doesn't seem to be a way to have this stuff useful across multiple devices without storing interesting information about you somewhere... Chrome syncing your bookmarks and history and auto-fill stuff is very neat but you have to let Google store the data to get this for example.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

That's fine except they've got a keystroke logger built into the bloody operating system!Originally posted by d000hg View PostIt's almost like if you hired a real assistant... they would know all this stuff about you too!

Saves hax0rs writing the logging part of the virus, they can just dump your keystroke log out.

Yup, me too. These companies like Microsoft and Google (with Chrome for example) are really starting to jump the shark with all this Cloud carp!Originally posted by LondonManc View PostGoing to have to have a read up on this and definitely before I upgrade.
Like most people, I've always been too lazy and unmotivated to spend ages tinkering with linux distros, and in fairness Windows 7 isn't too bad stalk-wise. But now I think it will be worth seriously considering linux next time I upgrade, especially as these distros are becoming easier to install and maintain and I gather driver support has markedly improved.Last edited by OwlHoot; 4 August 2015, 16:54.Work in the public sector? Quite. Back in the days when I still had a libido I used to hide my illegal pig porn by zipping and renaming it. Who would think of looking into ipp.exe in the Windows folder? He hid his porn collection in the My Pictures folder?bloggoth

I've got a dual boot Windows 7/Ubuntu desktop PC and linux is so much quicker. Unless I need Windows specific apps I'll let Ubuntu load up.Originally posted by OwlHoot View PostYup, me too.
