Cameron should have added "With our trousers down and a can of lube at the ready."Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.
No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.Comment

That is why the young don't rebel. Not because there isn't anything to rebel against. But because big brother will destroy your life if you do!
Aarnovich says
"We could split everything up, the Westminster bubble could be pricked, Brussels bureaucracy could be sacked, the edifice of neoliberalism brought down, and in the words of Owen Jones - the Dorian Gray who has Russell Brand in his attic- "the era of Merkel and the machine men can be ended" And in their places would arise...
What?
So Aarnovich at least has the wit and intelligence (as do most people - except people like you) to ask the question what do you replace everything with?
Anyone can whine (like you) but you cannot offer any sort of alternative. You know this and you would dread a Corbyn getting into power because he would ravage your "elitist" earnings and put an end to the freedoms enjoyed by contractors. You think you are being clever with your anti establishment rhetoric. You are not. You are simply a hypocrite that likes to think he is a bit cool.Let us not forget EU open doors immigration benefits IT contractors more than anyoneComment

Totally off topic, and not many people noticed it, but the Tories have ensured they won't get a single vote in northern England in 2020. After the 2015 votes were in, the immediately announced all plans for a high speed HS3 northern rail line would be scrapped. "Northern Powerhouse" got them some northern votes this time, even mentioned in the Queens speech. Then flushed down a chemical toilet at Conservative HQ.
On topic yeah obviously Corbyn is Michel Foot and great for every party but Labour. I thought they would have progressed to a Neil Kinnock stage by now. But no, their Kinnock is still to come, and after that a candidate people can actually vote for in 2025, which will probably be a Kendalite or David Milliband.Comment
