                  Back in 1981 that was £105,000 from memory (my parents nearly bought it)... The 4 bedroom house they did buy (for £40,000) is now £1million so not much different...

                    Sounds perfectly reasonable, but I'd be worried it might go up if interest rates rise.

                    I notice the floor plan doesn't include the total floor area, or not that I could see. But at that price I'd be looking for at least 5000 square feet.
