Back in 1981 that was £105,000 from memory (my parents nearly bought it)... The 4 bedroom house they did buy (for £40,000) is now £1million so not much different...

Sounds perfectly reasonable, but I'd be worried it might go up if interest rates rise.

I notice the floor plan doesn't include the total floor area, or not that I could see. But at that price I'd be looking for at least 5000 square feet.

Wow, that's more like it, provided the estate includes the entire promontary and there are no pesky public rights of way round it!
