salty ?Originally posted by TheFaQQerAnd your source for this is...Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

so its not in a public place? my caveat applies.Originally posted by TheFaQQer View PostFolsom Street Fair has gates at the ends of the streets, so it's not like you can wander through accidentally.
If you don't want to see it, then don't go through the gates and "accidentally" join the thousands of BDSM and leather fetishists.Comment

It's a public place that you have to choose to enter, fully aware that there is a fetishists fair going on. Children are allowed, because it's up to the parents to determine whether it's appropriate to take them to a fetishists fair or not.Originally posted by vetran View Postso its not in a public place? my caveat applies.Comment

Actually, it is hard to find anything recent that supports your posts. There is a Christian News "article" from 2005. There are some blog posts from 2011. There are two links from Wikipedia that go to things that people wrote in 2011.Originally posted by Gumbo Robot View PostNot hard to find but I'm not posting links to that kind of stuff.
Way too NSFW!
But there's not much else.
Not quite sure how this is relevant to London Pride (or any other gay Pride event in the world) though.Comment

There's shedloads. And they're not articles - movies / pics on xHamster and the like.Originally posted by TheFaQQer View PostActually, it is hard to find anything recent that supports your posts. If you really want to view them I'll PM you the links if you like.
I think I said in my original post that this event isn't a pride event. The SFO gay community is, however, somewhat overrepresented in some of the more overt behaviour. Again, just look at the pics.Comment

Aye - go on then, send me the links.Originally posted by Gumbo Robot View PostThere's shedloads. And they're not articles - movies / pics on xHamster and the like.

If every gay person in San Francisco turned up at the leather fetishists fair, then that would account for under a quarter of the attendees. Not sure what percentage of the gay population of San Fran attend a leather fetishists fair, but I'm going to suggest that it's significantly less than 100%. But I'm sure you're right about them being over-represented.Originally posted by Gumbo Robot View PostI think I said in my original post that this event isn't a pride event. I'm struggling a little bit to see your point - is it that fetishists engage in "abnormal" behaviour at a fetishists fair?Comment

Didn't realise it was cordoned off so only paying punters who know what they're in for are going to be exposed to it.Originally posted by TheFaQQer View PostI'm struggling a little bit to see your point - is it that fetishists engage in "abnormal" behaviour at a fetishists fair?Comment
