    SNP showing their true colours

Entirely predictable that this lot of self serving lefties will join the "anti austerity" (otherwise known as the "borrow more") movement and turn Scotland into another Greece or Venezuela. With no moderating influence from right of centre (i.e economic competence) parties like the Tories who is going to stop them?

SNP to consider raising Scots income tax next year - The Scotsman
Let us not forget EU open doors immigration benefits IT contractors more than anyone

Tax will only impact working Scots, so it's a meaningless gesture in the Soviet North.

So just to be clear, you're quoting a newspaper story where there are no direct quotes from Swinney about raising income tax in Scotland. The only mention of raising taxes is an 'admitted to considering'. Do you seriously think Osbourne hasn't 'considered' raising taxes in the UK ?

Any direct quotes do not mention raising or the considering of raising any taxes.

Add to that the UK government has announced a cut of £170m to the Scottish budget so Holyrood will need to consider all possibilities.

I don't know why it's such a surprise to DA that the SNP 'show their true colours' when they ran the election on an anti-austerity manifesto. Nicola said it often enough during the TV debates. DA probably wasn't listening to her though as he was cracking one off to Nigel at the time

You fought to keep the Barnett formula and now complain when you see the consequences of it.

Didn't we offer you full fiscal autonomy only for Scotland to reject it?

No, your prime minister demanded that it did not appear as a referendum question.

Post the referendum. We didn't want to give you a multiple choice question as most scots couldn't cope with anything more than yes or no

Can't Westminster do a deal with North Korea and sell Scotland to them for a nominal £1?

Win-win, the Scots get the country they truly want, and we get rid of them?

No, you made that up. Much like you made up your racist opinion of Scots.

That implies that you are a different race to me. I doubt my Scottish grandparents would agree with that
