It's not kicking a man while he's down, Suity, it's about accepting your punishment like a grown up or choosing to whine about it.

In the short time since you were banned, you've used two different sockie accounts to post about how unfair it all is. Which kind of defeats the object of banning you in the first place. It's not about kicking a man when he's down, it's about the concept of having a punishment in place which is actually a punishment rather than something that you obviously choose not to respect.

If it were down to me I'd have banned your two sockies and by now trebled your original ban. It's about accepting responsibility for your own actions rather than blaming everyone else.

What about the fact that there are two posters on here who constantly abuse the guy ? (Eek and FLC) One started two threads today simply for the purpose of handing out abuse to him. Didn't see the ban hammer falling there.

I cannot comment on the continuity of moderation (something that I might have mentioned once or twice in the past) - however, given that homophobic abuse can lead to site operators having legal problems, I'd rather it was removed and the poster dealt with swiftly than it being ignored.

Moderation is a subjective art - I once had the same post moderated by two moderators in different ways, for example - and what offends one person is mere banter to another.

But once banned / disciplined, one should be grown up enough to accept that rather than using multiple accounts and whinging about how unfair it all is.

I don't think the insults at him were criminal offenses. Sadly the homophobic ones against me were.

Now I'm happy to take an insult even ones that imply homosexuality but at least the previous ones were funny.
