The UK are subject to the rules of EU Freedom of Movement, there are no border checks. Just a quick scan of the vehicle for drugs etc.

Also when UK immigration checks cars, coaches and lorries they demand and check paperwork from all the occupants.

I was simply pointing out that the UK border control is tulip - it lets in criminals of all types and is poor at getting rid of them due to processing delays.

If there weren't processing delays then the criminals wouldn't be able to have children. Children have human rights plus a UN convention which is ratified in the various UK laws, that means it makes it virtually impossible to get rid of their criminal parent.

I think you'll find it was New Labour who signed up to Freedom of Movement within the EU. Nice try with trying to pin it on Major, but you know full well his own Euro-sceptics wouldn't have allowed such a thing.

Actually the Single European Market agreement which includes freedom of movement of goods, services, labour and capital involved UK politicians from all the main parties at the time backed up by civil servants. The fact most of the media aren't interested in European politics unless it's to report something absurd, means most people don't know how it works.....
