Of course some managers can't cope with remote resources and some resources can't work remotely, but that's their problem.Comment

I go on holiday with my family to spend quality time relaxing together and enjoying each others company.
My family would be quite annoyed If I spent our holiday bloody working!
I work to live - NOT the other way round.I'm sorry, but I'll make no apologies for this

Thanks anyway
Look, I posted for ideas, not a lecture on taking holiday vs working.
In case you didn't know, the school summer holidays are coming up and I thought it would be nice for my family to have a holiday for a few weeks where I can work in the mornings and spend time with them in the afternoons. My Wife is not in the best of health and so it would be good for her to be somewhere warm. She isn't well enough to take the kids by herself, so having me on-hand to help out would be a real help to her.
This is over and above other holidays we take during the year, so please, unless you have some good ideas of holiday hotels with decent WIFI, keep your your preaching to yourselves.Comment

ThanksWhat happens in General, stays in General. You know what they say about assumptions!Comment
