It won't give you tethered data any more. So it's good if you want email and music on your phone no good for pulling documents to you laptop.

That is 1 reason why I wasn't giving a recommendation. The other reason is that we often take 2 rooms and I often find 1 has a brilliant connection and next door an utterly tulip one.

That will rely on mobile broadband, I don't know how widespread that is in touristy places.

It can be worth checking with the Tourist Information service in the town/area you want to target for a holiday, they may have info on hotels.

The other option is renting a villa, some of those will offer connectivity, you can shop around on that basis.

As I said so long as the client is happy with remote working and there are no security concerns then it's quite possible to do successfully.

In case you didn't know, the school summer holidays are coming up and I thought it would be nice for my family to have a holiday for a few weeks where I can work in the mornings and spend time with them in the afternoons. My Wife is not in the best of health and so it would be good for her to be somewhere warm. She isn't well enough to take the kids by herself, so having me on-hand to help out would be a real help to her.

This is over and above other holidays we take during the year, so please, unless you have some good ideas of holiday hotels with decent WIFI, keep your your preaching to yourselves.

Can anyone recommend a good family hotel in the Canaries, Balearics or mainland Spain with really good WIFI that's available in the bedrooms or in a business centre as opposed to in the lobby, which is too noisy to do conference calls from?

    Thanks

I go on holiday with my family to spend quality time relaxing together and enjoying each others company.
My family would be quite annoyed If I spent our holiday bloody working!

I work to live - NOT the other way round.
