Call it marxist-atheism if you want, or just Marxism (since the Lenninist interpretation of Marxism includes atheism by default). Point is, people never like ideological baggage, left or right.

Tristram Hunt is about the only one of them I consider palatable, though I doubt his 'patrician' background is what Labour will be after at this point. That said, most of them hail from a similar background anyway.

In fact the only party with no overt ideology is the Lib Dems and look what happened to them....

As someone already said, is Labour ready for a black person at the front ? Will the country be ready for a black PM by 2020?

I hope he gets the Labour post so that the destruction will be complete.
