Too late for them now of course
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

That might not be the best example but there are loads of others.

Are you using 'Atheist' as an insult there?
I'm not even an atheist so much as I am an antitheist; I not only maintain that all religions are versions of the same untruth, but I hold that the influence of churches, and the effect of religious belief, is positively harmful. [Christopher Hitchens]

I certainly didn't say so, I asked a simple question you avoided it.

I don't consider being termed an Atheist as insulting far from it, a Marxist maybe as it is a failed ideology.

                    "Thanks Be To God" really?

Really - to be more precise.

May the most Holy, most Sacred, most Adorable
most incomprehensible and ineffable Name of God

Be forever praised, blessed, loved, adored and glorified in Heaven
on Earth, and under the Earth,by all the creatures of God
and by the Sacred Heart of Our Lord Jesus Christ
in the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar

                      Amen.
