whatever - everyone has to take umbrage at the slightest suggestion they do not agree with even if the cannot explain why.

        I only asked a question!

No, in asking the question you suggested that 5500+ people deserved to die suddenly and horribly, and that 70,000 familes deserved to lose their homes and possessions as a direct result of following a religeous practice you don't agree with. You suggested that those that died deserved it regardless of their nationality or religous faith (if they had any), or whether they had ever taken part in the ritual you referred to.

That is why you are a twat.

Everyone else assumed you would understand, thats why they didn't bother explaining.

            +1

            Twat.

horsetulip - I made no such suggestion - you interpreted as such. Everybody dies you know. We just don't have a say in it. The human condition, why do we as a civilisation struggle so to accept it?

By that reckoning tens of thousands of Iraqis that died by the hands of God fearing president Bush was god's will.

And FFS get a spell checker.

I've noticed on this site that when someone loses the argument or has just made a complete bell end out of themselves, the first thing they do is distract by pointing out spelling mistakes.

                  That is a fair comment.

But just to call someone a 2@ without explanation is unfortunate. Though par for the course on CUK.

I feel gutted for the people out there.

Apparently a contradiction, not an argument. I've not made any accusations, only questions. The idiot, conjures reason to suit their belief.

And includes unnecessary commas to try to seem more intelligent.
I'm not even an atheist so much as I am an antitheist; I not only maintain that all religions are versions of the same untruth, but I hold that the influence of churches, and the effect of religious belief, is positively harmful. [Christopher Hitchens]
